a small gathering thrown to honor this significant age for fat and ah heng

27th Friday

as for moi
since i have no clue as to what to get him...and knowing he wants to be with his friends to celebrate that day
i thought of holding a surprise bbq chalet for e old man
left with east coast as the only option to book...i got no choice but to accept the exorbitant price they charge...knn
but ok la...the place was big enough...but i could get one the size of a bungalow in Changi at half its price man
but bopian...sporeans every kiasu...one step faster than me...i only started booking one month ago
got his friends who were kind enough to pass the news around...and i lied to Fat about meeting MY FRIENDS for a simple dinner at east coast instead.

was kinda difficult la...arranging everything on my own...the organizing...the shopping...the transportation...checking in and setting up...and yes im definitely sure that no way im gonna have a chalet ever again
of cos i've put up a small team for this 'operation 30'...a sturdy reliable and not forgetting 'chio' group:

meldys tan...in charge of unloading preparation and marination...and BURNING the first batch of chicky wings

i held the bbq on the 27th...was a friday cos fat got plans to drink with his friend on the 28th
his good friend ah heng and chris happened to have the same birthday as him...good good
one party to serve 3 birthdays...one stone killing all 3 birds hahaha

ok this fat man thinking that he already knew of my surprise plans
made his way down to the so-called restaurant which i lied about the dinner we were supposed to be having at with my friends.... he did so without informing me at all which i told him to call when he's on his way down...then tried to act smart by calling me and roy, hoping to judge from our background.
well he ended up stranded at the red house...stripped the whole of red house and couldnt find us...then he finally surrendered to give us a call
see la...who ask u act smart huh...people got surprise then act blur ma...wanna ruin our mood izit...thank god u weren't so brilliant hahaha
Fat gotta walked all the way from carpark E which was miles and miles away from our chalet(and he lied about his fren fetching him down...he took a cab down by his own and was caught by ah heng in the carpark)
i was scared for a minute that he already knew about everything
apparently he just thought that i would call roy they all down to eat at the restaurant...hahaha
no lo...lim bei very smart wan...got ah heng they all down too hor...and yr whole group of marcus's they all

couldnt complain much about the bbq...the surprise was a success...but so much food was left laaa....wasted mel mole and my mum's effots to squeeze everything..
the guys upon reaching was to attack the beer...duhhh
fat was already wasted within an hour...didnt even get to talk to him for a good 5min
one bad thing about having alot of friends is that the bday boy gotta do the hosting nonstop
but a huge thank you for those present especially for my ladiesss....
thank god for being there!!!!
so next time u wanna open bbq be sure to look for us

fat was so disgustingly dirty that he went home wearing that blue top of mine home the next day cos his shirt was drenched in cake and all other shit that was within reach

28th saturday

we decided to go powerhouse last minute
fat decided not to reserve or celebrate cos roy they all dun like to club
but then we decided to go down ourselves and ya it was very very packed
we went down bout one plus and took about half an hour to get in from boilers!!!
and i thought economy was bad...walaooo

stayed there till it closes and we switched to fly
surprisingly it wasnt so packed as before...hahaha
so now chinese getting poorer and non chinese getting richer to club huh
hahaha
